Refund & Return Policy

1) General Conditions
All return or exchange requests must be made within 7 business days of purchase. Proof of purchase (invoice or digital receipt) is required. The product must be in its original packaging, unused, undamaged, and include all accessories, manuals, and parts.
2) Non-Returnable Items
- Used sewing machines, embroidery machines, or equipment.
- Electrical parts, electronic components, or software.
- Threads, needles, and personal-use accessories once opened.
- Clearance or discounted items (final sale).
3) Factory Defects
If the machine shows a verified manufacturing defect, the customer may:
- Request an exchange for the same or an equivalent unit.
- Receive direct warranty service with JMJ Sewing Machines (repair at no cost).
⚠️ Warranty does not cover misuse, drops, impacts, lack of maintenance, incorrect voltage, or unauthorized repairs.
4) Refund Processing
Once the return is received and inspected, the customer will be notified of approval or rejection. If approved, the refund will be processed within 5–10 business days using the same payment method. For financed purchases, the refund will be handled by the corresponding financing entity.
5) Shipping Costs
Original shipping costs are non-refundable. Customers are responsible for return shipping unless due to a factory defect or an error by JMJ Sewing Machines.
6) Repair Services
Repairs and maintenance include a 30-day warranty on the labor performed. If a different issue arises, it will be treated as a new service.
7) Financed Purchases
All purchases made through Affirm, Klarna, Afterpay, Synchrony, or similar platforms are subject to the financing company’s policies. JMJ Sewing Machines does not receive payment immediately; transactions are processed by the financing entity.
In Case of an Approved Financed Return
- A 10% administrative fee of the purchase value will be deducted from the refund amount.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
- The refund will be processed by the financing company within 7–21 business days.
Exceptions
Cash refunds are not offered; only exchanges for another product of equal or equivalent value. The 10% administrative fee is waived only in cases of:
- Verified factory defect, or
- Direct error or breach attributable to JMJ Sewing Machines.
