This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how orders are prepared, shipped, transported, and delivered to customers purchasing through jmjsewingmachines.com.

Our online store is operated by JMJ Services and Distribution LLC, a Florida limited liability company doing business as JMJ Sewing Machines, its registered fictitious business name.

We ship industrial sewing machines, replacement parts, accessories, and related merchandise throughout the United States, subject to carrier availability and applicable shipping restrictions.

This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service and Refund & Return Policy.

1. Where We Ship

JMJ Sewing Machines ships to eligible destinations in the United States, including the 50 states and Puerto Rico, subject to carrier availability, product eligibility, and applicable shipping restrictions.

Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, and certain remote destinations may require additional transit time, special handling, or a customized freight quotation.

Orders addressed to APO, FPO, or DPO locations may be accepted when the merchandise qualifies for shipment through an available USPS service.

Large industrial sewing machines and freight shipments generally cannot be delivered to military mail addresses or other destinations that do not support the required transportation service.

We do not currently offer international shipping through our standard online checkout.

If a shipping destination cannot be serviced, we will contact the customer to discuss available alternatives or cancellation and refund, as appropriate.

2. Preparing Your Order

Orders are generally processed Monday through Friday, excluding United States federal holidays.

Orders received after 2:00 PM Eastern Time, or on weekends and holidays, normally begin processing on the next business day.

Processing time refers to the period required to verify, prepare, package, and release merchandise for shipment. It does not include the carrier's transportation time.

Replacement Parts, Accessories, and Smaller Products

This category generally includes:

• Needles and sewing supplies.
• Bobbins, presser feet, and small accessories.
• Replacement parts and machine components.
• Other qualifying merchandise that does not require industrial equipment preparation.

Industrial Sewing Machines and Heavy Equipment

Depending on the product and order requirements, preparation may include:

• Assembly or completion of required machine components.
• Mechanical inspection and adjustment.
• Functional or electrical checks when applicable.
• Protective packaging, palletizing, or crating.
• Coordination with a suitable freight carrier.

The preparation performed may vary by machine type, manufacturer configuration, and shipment requirements. Not every product requires the same assembly or testing procedures.

During high-volume periods, including major promotional events and holiday seasons, processing may require approximately 3–4 additional business days.

If an order requires materially more time than originally represented, we will contact the customer and comply with applicable requirements concerning shipping delays and cancellation rights.

3. Transportation Methods

JMJ selects shipping services based on the product's dimensions, weight, destination, and handling requirements.

Parcel Delivery

Smaller products and qualifying equipment may be shipped using services such as:

• USPS
• UPS
• FedEx

Parcel shipping is generally used for replacement parts, accessories, sewing supplies, and merchandise suitable for conventional package transportation.

Freight Delivery

Industrial sewing machines, heavy equipment, and oversized merchandise may be shipped through Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) freight services.

Freight carriers may include FedEx Freight, R+L Carriers, Estes, XPO, or another suitable transportation provider.

Products weighing approximately 50 pounds or more may require freight transportation, although the final shipping method depends on packaging dimensions, handling needs, and carrier requirements.

Freight shipments may be secured to pallets or packaged in protective crates.

The selected carrier and shipping method may differ from those used for smaller merchandise.

4. Shipping Charges and Quotes

Shipping charges are generally calculated using factors such as:

• Delivery ZIP code and destination.
• Package weight and dimensions.
• Merchandise type and handling requirements.
• Available carrier services.
• Selected delivery method.

The applicable shipping charge will ordinarily be displayed during checkout.

Large, oversized, or specialized freight orders may require a separate shipping quotation before the order is finalized.

Additional services, such as special access arrangements or nonstandard delivery requirements, may involve additional charges when disclosed and agreed upon.

Free-shipping promotions apply only when expressly offered and may be subject to product, destination, or order-value restrictions.

Industrial Sewing Machine Shipping Rates | Florida, Puerto Rico & U.S. Zones

Products excluded from industrial-machine shipping offers: Domestic sewing machines, replacement parts, sewing supplies, and accessories have their own applicable shipping charges based on the order and destination.

Special shipping circumstances: Remote locations, unusual freight requirements, or optional delivery services may require a separate quote. Any additional amount must be communicated and accepted before the order is finalized; no undisclosed fee is imposed after purchase.

Checkout rates: The shipping rate disclosed and accepted at checkout, or in a separately accepted written quotation, governs the order. Shipping zones and promotions may change for future purchases without retroactively changing an accepted order.

Puerto Rico transportation: Carrier availability, transit estimates, and delivery arrangements may differ from those for the continental United States. Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory and is not treated as an international destination under this policy.

5. Estimated Transportation Times

The following estimates describe typical transportation periods after an order has shipped.

These are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates unless a specific guaranteed service has been expressly purchased and confirmed.

For example, a machine requiring five business days of preparation may also require several additional business days in transit.

Delivery estimates may be affected by destination, weather, carrier capacity, transportation interruptions, and other circumstances.

Tracking information will generally be sent by email once the shipment has been released to the carrier and tracking details are available.

Shipping Delays and Customer Rights

JMJ intends to ship merchandise within the period communicated when an order is placed.

If no specific shipping period is stated, applicable federal requirements may establish a default shipping deadline.

When we cannot ship within the promised or legally applicable period, we will provide any required delay notice, request customer consent when necessary, and offer cancellation and a refund as required by law.

Customers retain the cancellation and refund rights provided by applicable law, including the FTC Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule where applicable.

6. Receiving Industrial Equipment by Freight

Freight delivery differs from standard parcel delivery. Customers ordering industrial sewing machines or heavy equipment should review this section carefully.

Delivery Location

Unless a different service is expressly included or agreed upon, standard freight delivery is generally curbside or at the carrier's designated accessible delivery point.

The driver is not automatically responsible for moving machinery inside a building, carrying equipment upstairs, installing the machine, or removing packaging.

Customers should ensure that the delivery location can accommodate the size and weight of the shipment.

Residential Freight Deliveries

Residential deliveries may require a scheduled appointment.

Where included in the shipping arrangement, liftgate service allows the carrier to lower a pallet from the truck to ground level.

For standard residential freight shipments arranged by JMJ, liftgate service is generally included when required for the delivery.

Liftgate service does not include moving machinery through doorways, into a garage, or to its final installation location.

Commercial Freight Deliveries

Commercial deliveries may be arranged for locations with a suitable loading dock or other accessible receiving area.

Customers should inform JMJ before shipment if the destination lacks a loading dock or requires special equipment.

Any additional service or associated charge will be addressed according to the agreed shipping arrangement.

Florida Delivery | JMJ Maqui-Van & Carrier Options

Complimentary Maqui-Van Delivery (When Available): For eligible sewing-machine orders with a delivery address in Florida, JMJ Sewing Machines may deliver directly to the customer using our company vehicle, Maqui-Van, at no additional delivery charge when this option is confirmed by JMJ.

Direct Delivery Is Not Guaranteed: Purchasing a machine in Florida, or providing a Florida delivery address, does not entitle the customer to delivery by Maqui-Van. This service depends on route availability, scheduling, staffing, delivery distance, equipment size, and operational capacity. JMJ determines the transportation method for each eligible order.

Alternative Shipping: If Maqui-Van is unavailable, JMJ will arrange shipment through an appropriate parcel or freight carrier, or another agreed delivery method. Any shipping charges, if applicable, will follow the shipping offer or terms communicated and accepted for the order; JMJ will not treat the absence of Maqui-Van availability as authorization for an undisclosed additional fee.

Scope of Delivery: Complimentary Maqui-Van delivery refers to transportation to the agreed delivery location. Indoor placement, installation, training, removal of packaging, and other enhanced handling are not automatically included unless JMJ expressly confirms them.

Scheduling: If Maqui-Van delivery is selected, JMJ will coordinate the delivery date and receiving arrangements with the customer. Delivery times depend on route planning and availability.

7. Freight Delivery Appointments and Access

Freight carriers may contact customers to arrange delivery appointments.

Customers should provide a working telephone number and respond to reasonable scheduling requests.

If a customer misses a confirmed appointment, provides an inaccessible delivery location, or requests a change after the shipment is in transit, the carrier may assess additional charges.

Reasonable and documented redelivery, storage, or special-handling fees caused by customer-provided information or customer-requested changes may be charged to the customer when permitted by law and consistent with the agreed shipping terms.
