Welcome to JMJ Sewing Machines. Our website and store are operated by JMJ Services and Distribution LLC, doing business as JMJ Sewing Machines ("JMJ," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") describe the conditions for using our online store, purchasing equipment and related merchandise, and contacting our team.

Please review these Terms and the linked policies before placing an order. Where applicable, customers using our standard online shopping cart must acknowledge the linked policies before proceeding to checkout. Other purchasing channels or accelerated checkout options may operate differently. No acknowledgment waives rights that cannot legally be waived.

01 | Who May Purchase and Use Our Store

JMJ sells industrial and domestic sewing machines, embroidery equipment, replacement parts, accessories, and related textile products to individual and business customers.

Customers must be at least 18 years old or otherwise legally authorized to enter a purchase agreement. A person purchasing for an organization represents that they have authority to act for it.

Customers must provide accurate contact, billing, and shipping information. If a customer account is used, the customer is responsible for protecting login credentials and reporting suspected unauthorized access.

02 | Product Selection and Technical Compatibility

Before ordering, customers should review the model, intended application, dimensions, voltage, needle system, and compatibility of machines and components. Similar-looking replacement parts are not necessarily interchangeable.

Product photos and descriptions help identify merchandise. Manufacturers may update packaging or minor design details. JMJ seeks to correct material listing errors and will communicate material discrepancies affecting an order.

Customers may contact our team for guidance selecting suitable machinery. Nothing in this section removes legal remedies for incorrectly described or nonconforming goods.

03 | Prices, Payment and Financing

Prices may change before an order is accepted. Applicable taxes, shipping charges, and other disclosed fees are presented during the purchasing process as appropriate.

Customers authorize payment using a method they are permitted to use. Financing services, when available, are subject to the separate terms, approvals, and repayment obligations of the selected financing provider.

JMJ may request reasonable order verification for fraud prevention. If an order cannot be fulfilled due to a material pricing error or unsuccessful verification, JMJ will explain the available options and refund amounts collected when required.

04 | Order Acceptance, Availability and Special Orders

An automated order acknowledgment confirms receipt of an order request; it does not necessarily confirm immediate stock availability. Some equipment requires assembly, inspection, configuration, or additional processing.

JMJ may contact customers about availability, alternatives, timing, or cancellation. If JMJ cancels an order that has already been paid because the product cannot be supplied, applicable amounts collected will be refunded.

Special-order, customized, or project-specific equipment may have additional written conditions disclosed and accepted before purchase. Those conditions apply to the extent permitted by law.

05 | Shipping, Freight and Delivery

Parcel and freight delivery requirements depend on product size, weight, destination, and the applicable shipping arrangements. Customers must provide a deliverable address and any receiving information reasonably required for large machinery.

Customers should inspect deliveries when reasonably possible and promptly notify JMJ about visible damage, missing components, or incorrect merchandise. Keep packaging and delivery documentation while an issue is evaluated.

Risk of loss and remedies for delivery problems are determined by applicable law, agreed shipping terms, and our Shipping Policy. No provision here automatically transfers all transportation risk merely because an order was handed to a carrier.

06 | Returns, Refunds and Cancellations

Customers may request an eligible voluntary return within 14 calendar days after confirmed delivery. Merchandise must meet the eligibility and condition requirements described in our separate policy.

Approved voluntary returns of eligible, non-defective products are generally subject to a 20% restocking fee, calculated according to the Refund Policy. Prior return authorization is required; customers must not ship merchandise back without instructions.

For customer-arranged voluntary returns, return shipping and suitable protective packaging are generally the customer’s responsibility. Industrial equipment may require palletized freight and special handling.

When JMJ successfully cancels an eligible order before shipment, no cancellation or restocking fee is charged, subject to any properly disclosed and accepted special-order conditions.

Incorrect, defective, or transit-damaged goods are reviewed separately. The voluntary-return window and fee do not automatically limit applicable warranty rights or other non-waivable remedies.

07 | Limited Product Warranty and After-Sales Assistance

JMJ’s stated limited warranty periods are 6 months for eligible domestic sewing machines and 12 months for eligible industrial sewing machines, subject to the applicable written warranty and product classification.

For qualifying manufacturing defects covered by JMJ’s limited warranty, the necessary replacement parts and repair labor are included. Electrical and electronic components are excluded from JMJ’s limited warranty only to the extent permitted by applicable law; separate manufacturer warranties and mandatory protections remain in effect.

Customers should contact JMJ directly to start a warranty inquiry. Depending on the circumstances, JMJ may provide preliminary technical guidance by phone or video call and may request photos, video, purchase details, or an inspection. Remote assistance does not replace an in-person repair when necessary.

Warranty coverage, exclusions, remedies, and responsibilities are detailed in the separate Warranty Policy. Warranty rights are separate from the voluntary-return period. Transportation, on-site visits, installation, and removal are not automatically included unless the applicable written warranty or law provides otherwise.

08 | Assembly, Inspection and Equipment Operation

For applicable industrial machine packages sold as assembled units, JMJ prepares the machine, table, motor, and stand according to the purchased configuration. Components and optional accessories vary by listing; caster wheels are not included unless expressly stated.

Before delivery, JMJ performs applicable quality checks intended to identify possible factory or assembly issues, reviews basic operation, and carries out calibration, adjustments, lubrication checks, or sewing tests when appropriate. These preventive steps do not guarantee that no defect will ever occur.

Machines purchased directly at the JMJ physical store in Orlando include a brief explanation of basic operation and principal controls at pickup. This is not extended training and does not constitute an in-person service for shipped orders.

Customers should follow the manufacturer’s operating and safety instructions and use qualified technicians for work beyond routine safe user checks.

09 | Business and Institutional Purchases

Business-to-business purchases, production projects, multiple-machine quotations, and specially configured equipment may be subject to individually agreed written terms.

JMJ offers assistance with machinery selection and production workspace planning according to the customer’s stated needs. A quotation does not promise a particular production output unless expressly agreed in writing.

10 | Website Content and Acceptable Use

Text, images, branding, and website materials are provided for legitimate shopping and informational purposes. Rights in third-party trademarks and manufacturer materials remain with their respective owners.

Customers must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with site operations, or submit fraudulent information. Nothing in these Terms grants permission to reproduce protected content beyond applicable law or authorization.

11 | Third-Party Services and Website Availability

Payment processors, financing providers, delivery carriers, and other independent services may apply their own terms and privacy practices.

JMJ works to keep product information and online functions available but cannot promise uninterrupted website access. This does not limit obligations arising from accepted purchases or rights protected by law.

12 | Customer Communications and Privacy

JMJ may contact customers about orders, delivery arrangements, product questions, and service requests using contact details they provide. Marketing communications, where used, are subject to applicable consent and opt-out rules.

13 | Policy Acknowledgment and Customer Rights

In the standard online cart, JMJ presents a checkbox requiring customers to acknowledge linked store policies before proceeding to checkout. This feature may not apply identically to all accelerated checkout methods or other sales channels.

Acceptance does not make unlawful terms enforceable or eliminate statutory consumer protections. In the event of a conflict, applicable mandatory law controls.

14 | Changes, Disputes and Applicable Law

JMJ may update these Terms and display a revised date. Changes do not retroactively remove rights from previously accepted orders where prohibited by law.

These Terms are intended to operate consistently with applicable United States and Florida law, including mandatory laws that may apply to a particular transaction or customer. Customers may contact JMJ first to seek resolution of order-related concerns. Nothing here restricts lawful payment disputes or other non-waivable remedies.
