The JACK® JK-8568-05GBX356 is a specialized industrial 3-needle, 5-thread flatbed interlock / coverstitch sewing machine designed for elastic attaching and simultaneous fabric edge trimming. Unlike a standard flatbed coverstitch machine, the 05GB configuration combines multiple production operations into one sewing process, making it particularly effective for underwear, sportswear, activewear, and other knit garment manufacturing.

The machine applies elastic while simultaneously trimming excess fabric from the edge, helping produce a clean, consistent professional finish while reducing separate production steps. Its upper and lower covering capability provides strong, flexible seams suitable for garments that must stretch during use.

The X356 configuration provides a 5.6 mm needle gauge. The machine uses the UY128GAS needle system, with recommended needle sizes from #11/75 to #14/90 for light to medium-weight knit fabrics.

Special 05GB Configuration

The 05GB configuration is specifically designed for elastic attaching applications where the elastic must be sewn to the garment while the excess fabric edge is trimmed during the same operation.
