The machine accommodates heavy industrial thread from #20 to #1 / B69 to B207 and needle sizes from Nm125 to Nm200, making it particularly suitable for applications requiring strong seams and heavy thread.

The machine uses 190R / 135×17 needles with a supported size range of Nm125–Nm200. The standard needle at the time of delivery is Nm180.
