The JUKI® DDL-9000C-FMS is an advanced full-digital, single-needle industrial lockstitch sewing machine engineered for professional medium-weight garment production. It combines JUKI's digital sewing technology with a semi-dry head, Direct Drive system, automatic thread trimming, electronically controlled feeding, active needle-thread tension, and electronic presser foot pressure control.

Unlike conventional industrial lockstitch machines that depend heavily on mechanical adjustments and operator experience, the DDL-9000C platform allows critical sewing conditions to be digitally adjusted and reproduced. This helps maintain consistent seam quality when changing materials, products, or production requirements.

Double Digital Feed Mechanism

The DDL-9000C features a digitally controlled feed mechanism that controls both vertical and horizontal feed movement. Feed dog height and feed characteristics can be adjusted according to the material being sewn, helping optimize seam quality across different sewing conditions.

Different feed loci can be selected through the operation panel, allowing the feeding characteristics of the machine to be adapted to the fabric and sewing process without relying exclusively on conventional mechanical adjustments.

Short Remaining Thread After Trimming

The double digital feed mechanism works together with the double-edge rotary thread trimming system to lower the feed dog during thread trimming. This allows the cutting knives to operate close to the needle entry point and helps reduce the remaining needle thread after trimming to approximately 3 mm or less.

When the machine stops with the needle bar raised, the feed dog does not protrude above the throat plate surface, making it easier to place and remove material while helping prevent damage to delicate fabrics.

Digital Needle-Thread Active Tension

The Active Tension system digitally controls needle-thread tension. Thread tension settings can be entered through the operation panel and stored in memory, allowing sewing conditions to be reproduced when returning to the same product or material.

This digital control helps reduce setup time and provides more consistent stitch quality in operations where material characteristics or fabric layers change during sewing.

Active Presser Foot Pressure Control

Presser foot pressure is electronically controlled. In automatic operation, the machine can respond to changes in material thickness and adjust presser foot pressure accordingly, helping maintain stable feeding when sewing across multi-layered sections.

Needle-thread tension, presser foot pressure, stitch pitch, feed locus, and feed dog height can be coordinated to provide greater control over seam quality.
